Then, the pièce de résistance: a generous drizzle (or flood) of rich, peppery white gravy. It’s often served with mashed potatoes and green beans, making it the ultimate diner-style meal. 

Whether you ate it at a small-town cafe or your grandma’s kitchen, it’s the kind of dish that sticks to your ribs and warms your soul.
