I’m a huge fan of both tacos and pasta, so when I stumbled upon the Taco Stuffed Shells recipe, I knew I had to give it a whirl. 

This dish is a fantastic fusion of two beloved favorites, and the best part? It’s incredibly easy to whip up. Imagine pasta shells filled with a zesty taco meat mixture, all topped with gooey cheese and savory sauce – it’s a match made in culinary heaven!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Jumbo shell pasta
  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 Packet taco seasoning
  • 5 oz. Cream cheese
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • Chopped green onions
  • 1 C. Shredded taco blend cheese
  • 1 C. Salsa

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the jumbo shell pasta until it’s al dente, then drain and rinse them under cold water to prevent sticking.

2. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, getting it ready for baking perfection.

3. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it’s nicely browned. Drain any excess fat for a leaner mix.

4. Flavor Explosion: Add minced garlic to the beef and sauté for about 30 seconds to release its aroma. Next, mix in a packet of taco seasoning, cream cheese, and salsa. Stir until the cream cheese melts and everything is well combined. Let this tantalizing meat mixture cool down a bit.

5. Stuff the Shells: Fill the cooked jumbo pasta shells with your flavorful beef mixture and arrange them snugly in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
