Almond Joy Cookies Ready In No Time

I don’t know about you, but I crave something sweet very often and that can sometimes be a big problem. 

One of my favorite treats are popular Almond Joy candy bars but it very often happens that this treat suddenly disappears from the house. I truly wonder why. 😃

Nonetheless, in such situations, I am forced to find a very good solution, and believe it or not, I truly do. 

I found a fantastic alternative for these delicious candy bars in the form of Almond Joy Cookies.  They require only a few ingredients to make and are ready in no time.

Almond Joy Cookies

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 17 minutes

When my Almond Joy candy bars mysteriously vanish, these easy, Almond Joy Cookies come to the rescue, satisfying my sweet cravings in no time!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup chopped lightly salted almonds
  • 1 14 oz bag sweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk regular or fat-free works

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Set it aside for now.

2. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the chocolate chips, coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and almonds.

Stir until everything is well combined.

3. Portion the Dough: Use a cookie scoop to place portions of dough onto the lined baking sheet.

4. Shape the Cookies: Lightly dampen your fingertips with water, then shape the dough into discs, gently pressing the tops flat.

5. Bake the Cookies: Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the edges of the coconut begin to turn a light golden color.

6. Cool on the Baking Sheet: Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet before handling them.

7. Enjoy the Cookies: Once cooled, serve the cookies and enjoy their deliciousness.

In just a few easy steps, while using only four ingredients, I have the sweet cookies that delight my taste buds and are a great alternative to my favorite candy bars. 

The amazing thing is that I can also make a large batch and store it in an airtight container to enjoy them in the coming days.
