Some Blew Me Away, Some Blew It: 8 Worst And 8 Best Restaurants In Disney Springs

Sharing is caring!

Disney Springs has become a foodie paradise with dozens of dining options ranging from quick bites to fancy feasts. But not all restaurants are created equal in this magical dining destination.

I’ve eaten my way through Disney Springs to bring you the honest truth about which spots are worth your hard-earned vacation dollars and which ones you should definitely skip.

1. Rainforest Café

The thunderstorms and animatronic animals might entertain the kids, but your taste buds won’t be celebrating. Overpriced, bland dishes arrive lukewarm after long waits.

The themed environment loses its charm when you’re paying premium prices for food that’s barely a step above fast food quality. Save your money for truly magical dining experiences elsewhere.

2. T-REX Café

It’s like eating inside a dino-themed fever dream—and not in a good way. The food is generic, noisy, and leans heavily on novelty rather than quality.

Kids might be wowed by the meteor shower every 20 minutes, but adults are usually left with bland burgers and long waits. Think prehistoric prices for pre-packaged flavor.

3. D-Luxe Burger

It looks promising, but D-Luxe often misses the mark on execution. The buns get soggy fast, and the patties, while juicy, lack real seasoning.

Fries are decent, but not enough to justify the wait and price. It’s fine in a pinch, but there are better burgers nearby.

4. Chicken Guy!

Despite the hype from Guy Fieri, the chicken is just okay—crunchy but forgettable. The abundance of sauces is fun, but it feels like a gimmick to distract from the average tenders.

It’s cheap and fast, but the lines are long and the flavors mild. You’ll wonder what the fuss is about.

5. Planet Hollywood

You’d think a Hollywood-themed restaurant would be glitzy, but this spot is all style and no substance. The menu is massive, but nearly everything tastes like it came from a freezer.

Service can be chaotic, and the blaring music makes conversation tough. You’re paying for the celebrity photos, not the food.

6. Wolfgang Puck Express

Once a go-to for quick gourmet bites, Wolfgang Puck Express has lost its spark. The menu feels dated, and portions don’t match the price.

What used to be a hidden gem now feels like it’s just phoning it in. There are better fast-casual choices steps away.

7. Earl Of Sandwich

It’s cheap and consistent, but let’s be honest—these sandwiches are the definition of mediocre. The bread is often dry, and the fillings lean processed.

It’s a convenient option if you’re in a hurry, but nothing here will wow you. A solid backup, not a destination.

8. The Polite Pig

This one might be controversial—some love it, others leave disappointed. The barbecue can be hit or miss, with dry brisket and underwhelming sides popping up too often.

For the price, you expect more consistency and better service. It’s fine, but hardly “next-level” barbecue.

9. The BOATHOUSE

If you’re after a perfect blend of upscale seafood and waterfront ambiance, The BOATHOUSE delivers every time. The oysters are fresh, the steaks are perfectly seared, and the lobster roll is an all-time favorite.

It’s a rare mix of family-friendly and fine dining done right. And yes, eating next to actual floating vintage boats doesn’t hurt.

10. Wine Bar George

This isn’t just a wine bar—it’s a masterclass in pairing small plates with world-class pours. Curated by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, every glass feels intentional, and the food more than holds its own.

The crispy mac and cheese bites and skirt steak are standouts. Whether you’re a wine snob or a curious sipper, this place feels special.

11. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Homecomin’ is Southern comfort food at its absolute best, courtesy of Oprah’s former chef, Art Smith. The fried chicken is legendary, but the real secret weapon is the house-made hot sauce and moonshine cocktails.

Warm, indulgent, and unapologetically rich. You’ll leave full—and a little obsessed.

12. Jaleo By José Andrés

Jaleo is a party of flavors from Spain, and celebrity chef José Andrés brings the flair. The tapas-style menu encourages sharing and tasting your way through inventive bites like jamón ibérico and paella.

Perfect for foodies who love variety and vibrant atmosphere.

13. Raglan Road Irish Pub

Raglan Road offers more than just hearty Irish dishes—it’s a full-on cultural experience. Live music, energetic Irish dancing, and elevated pub fare make it a fan favorite.

The fish and chips and shepherd’s pie are top-notch, and the Guinness flows freely. Loud, lively, and genuinely fun.

14. Morimoto Asia

Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s pan-Asian spot is sleek, dramatic, and seriously delicious. The dim sum, sushi, and ramen all impress, but the sticky ribs steal the show.

The design alone—giant chandeliers, open kitchens—is worth the visit. It’s fusion done with precision and flair.

15. Paddlefish

This paddleboat-turned-restaurant serves up fresh seafood with rooftop views that are hard to beat. Lobster corn dogs, crab guacamole, and a solid brunch menu keep it interesting. It’s a great pick for date night or special occasions.

And yes, the boat really does feel like it’s floating on luxury.

16. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza

Quick, customizable, and surprisingly delicious, Blaze is a fast-casual gem. With unlimited toppings and a smoky, fire-roasted crust, it’s the ideal Disney Springs lunch. It’s not gourmet, but it’s consistently good and fast.

Plus, it’s one of the most budget-friendly options on property.
