I generally don’t avoid any type of food, but meat holds a special place on my favorites list. It’s flavorful, pairs perfectly with almost any dish, and, in most cases, is quite easy to prepare.
However, I always pay close attention to the cooking method I choose to make my meat as tasty as possible—and the crockpot never disappoints.
That’s exactly why I’m excited to share a recipe for crockpot pork chops that will make every bite extra tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.

Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork Chops: Using the tip of a knife, score each pork chop in a diamond pattern with small slits, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Combine the Spices: In a medium bowl, stir together the paprika, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, oregano, and basil until well blended.
3. Rub the Seasoning on Pork Chops: Set aside 2 teaspoons of the spice mixture and rub it thoroughly onto the pork chops, making sure to press the seasoning into the slits.
4. Make the Broth Mixture: Add broth and minced garlic to the remaining spice blend, and whisk until combined.
5. Layer in the Slow Cooker: Pour the broth mixture into a 6-quart slow cooker, then place the seasoned pork chops on top.
6. Cook the Pork Chops: Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for about 1 hour and 40 minutes, occasionally basting the pork chops with the sauce.
7. Check for Doneness: The pork chops are done when the center is slightly pink, and an instant-read thermometer reads at least 145°F (63°C).
8. Serve Hot: Serve the pork chops warm and enjoy their juicy, flavorful goodness!
After less than two hours of cooking, you have meat that is both tender and juicy and will surely delight your palate.
It is best to serve it with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables, and it works well for family dinners, meal prep, or even gatherings.
