Instructions
1. Sauté the Shrimp:
Heat some oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season your shrimp with a dash of salt and pepper, then cook until they turn pink and juicy. Once done, set them aside for later.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter and toss in the minced garlic. Let it cook for about 30 seconds, just enough for that lovely garlic aroma to fill the kitchen. Next, whisk in the chicken broth and whole milk until everything is well combined.
3. Cook the Noodles:
Add the fettuccine noodles straight into the skillet, cover it with a lid, and let them simmer until perfectly tender. Forget about boiling water in a separate pot—this way, everything comes together in one pan!
4. Thicken the Sauce:
Once the noodles are cooked, remove the lid, lower the heat to medium, and stir in the heavy cream. Keep it on the heat until the sauce thickens into creamy perfection.
5. Add Some Parmesan Magic:
Mix in the Parmesan cheese along with a pinch of nutmeg. Taste and add a bit more salt and pepper if needed—it’s all about balancing those flavors!
6. Combine with Shrimp:
Toss the cooked shrimp back into the skillet, making sure they’re coated in that creamy sauce. Give it a good mix so the shrimp and noodles are all wrapped in deliciousness.
7. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a touch of color and brightness. Serve it up hot and enjoy your creamy, dreamy shrimp fettuccine!
Now that you’ve got your one-pan wonder ready, it’s time to give your palate what it deserves. With tender shrimp, rich Parmesan sauce, and perfectly cooked noodles, you will surely cure all its diseases.
The only problem is that you will no longer be able to stop it from craving for more.
